This role will be
responsible for the global web strategy. This role will provide strategic leadership
for the overall web presence, including global web communication strategy, design
and functional innovation along with overall operations and utility. This position
will be responsible for driving front end web development through global and regional
teams while bringing new ideas, strategies and solutions for consideration. The
position will also be responsible for coordinating with Consumer and On Line Marketing
to craft site promotions, email newsletters, and online outreach campaigns. --Develop
strategies to align the corporate websites including mobile sites to the corporate
initiatives that meet the needs of the global and regional marketing directors.
--Manage on a global level website including design, functionality, and content
management. Make sure the regions have customization capabilities to implement
regional strategies. --Oversight of web-related projects, working closely
with key stakeholders groups in IT and the business integrating and reconciling
feedback regarding priorities. --Works closely with IT to align our technology
globally to ensure a smooth technical interface for the users of the site as well
as ease of updates and refreshes. --Provide guidance globally on working within
the social media and internet space. Works closely with the regional representatives
so as a company we maintain a consistent approach to practitioners and consumers,
but allows for appropriate regional customization. --Maintain domain name
database: Registration, Tracking and Renewals. --Responsible for configuration,
deployment and tuning of SEO. --Conduct usability reviews, facilitate customers
feedback reviews and conduct surveys to consistently improve Web site effectiveness
and customer experiences. --Analyze and closely monitor Web site statistics,
visitor behavior and trendsbe the site visitors liaison to the organization.
--Work with consumer marketing to maintain and develop the master content
calendar for all web properties. --Hire and direct agencies for site creative,
production and technical implementations. --Set and direct site standards
and user framework to ensure a high-quality user experience- www and moblie. --Set
agenda and priorities for cost-effective Web activities including product launches
and corporate business programs. --Develop site business opportunities, new
site features and other innovations to increase revenue, attract and support customers
and position company as a leader on the Web and mobile. --Establish success
metrics and performance indicators to measure site effectiveness. --Responsible
for maintenance and posting of content on Web site. Performs QA throughout entire
site; checks for broken links, relevance and accuracy of data, and corrects as
needed; updates information in Web pages and checks for bugs and other problems,
diagnoses problems, and applies fixes. qualifications
-- 10+ years in marketing and web development. -- JAVASCRIPT, HTML/DHTML,
CSS, .NET, OMNITURE, SOCIAL MEDIA EXPERIENCE -- Strategic thinking skills
coupled with flexibility to devise alternative approaches and outcomes. --
An eye for great mobile user experience (UX) and how it's enabled by the underlying
technology. -- Conviction and strength of personality but leadership without
ego. -- Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced
environment and to drive projects from start to finish with minimal supervision;
attention to detail. -- Experience with content management systems (Ektron
preferred). -- Basic Adobe Photoshop skills. -- Some PHP experience, preferably
with experience developing Facebook applications. -- Experience developing
mobile applications on platforms such as iPhone, Android, RIM, Symbian -- Passion
for the web, mobile, and technologies that solve real user problems. -- Solid
understand of best practices in web/mobile design and functionality, along with
knowledge of common metrics and measurements. -- Proven track record in launching
and operating worldwide Web sites with aggressive sales, marketing and business
automation features. -- Exceptional communication and organizational skills. Preferred
experience AJAX,
SQL, Flash; C#, ColdFusion, PHP, or Java Education
BA/BS/MBA in marketing
